Heavy Rotation Records, Berklee College of Music’s student-run record label, is now accepting original artwork submissions for the upcoming Dorm Sessions 9 album cover art. Dorm Sessions 9, developed and released by students, will feature original music from several of Berklee’s most talented performers. While there is no specific theme for the album cover art, artists are encouraged to send in original sketches (fully completed pieces of art are not required) of what they think will represent a collaborative album consisting of all different styles of music — made for students by students. Please see previous album covers as shown above as a reference if needed. The chosen artist will be compensated for their submission.

If you would like to submit a sketch to be considered for Heavy Rotation Records’ upcoming Dorm Sessions 9 album cover art, please send your sketch in the form of a JPEG and as a PDF as an attachment to dormsessions@gmail.com. Please be sure to include your full name, school, major, and phone number for consideration. Submissions are open now until 11:59 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2013.

For further information, questions, or concerns, please contact dormsessions@gmail.com.

Heavy Rotation Records was developed for Music Business/Management majors at Berklee College of Music to gain hands-on experience running a record label. Under the guidance of faculty advisor Jeff Dorenfeld, former manager of the band Boston, students oversee all aspects of the label’s functions, including A&R, marketing, sales, touring, web development, media, and accounting.
